This CD features McLachlan’s vocal performances enhanced by Marchand’s production choices, which incorporate ambient textures, distorted guitars, muted trumpet, violins, banjo, and tribal drums across the album’s nine tracks. The production approach varies considerably from song to song, with some pieces staying closer to their original forms while others receive more experimental arrangements.
