The Peppermint Rainbow was a Baltimore-based sunshine pop and psychedelic rock group from the 1960s, featuring the vocal harmonies of sisters Pat and Bonnie Lamdin. Produced by Paul Leka, who worked with the Lemon Pipers and Steam, this 2005 reissue captures the band’s sole album with its folk-pop sensibility and soaring late-60s sound. The title track became a hit, but songs like Pink Lemonade, Run Like The Devil, and Sierra (Chasin’ My Dream) showcase the group’s range and demonstrate why other cuts deserved single status as well.

This CD reissue comes from Collector’s Choice Music and includes liner notes with quotes from the band members themselves. Grab this used copy and experience the sunshine pop era through the voices of two sisters who created something special in the late 1960s.
