Wild Target is a 2010 French comedy-action film directed by Pierre Salvadori, starring Bill Nighy and Emily Blunt. The story follows Victor Meynard, a solitary middle-aged assassin whose carefully ordered life is turned upside down when he spares the life of Renee, a bold thief he was hired to kill, and takes on Antoine, an eager young apprentice. When the mobster who hired Victor sends additional teams to eliminate all three of them, Victor decides to protect Renee instead. The unlikely trio retreats to Victor’s house, where his attraction to Renee deepens even as she discovers his true profession, and they must prepare for a final confrontation with their pursuers.
