Why Walk When You Can Fly? is a 2001 choral album by Angel City Chorale, a Los Angeles-based ensemble founded in 1993. The group, which grew from 18 singers to over 100 members, is led by founder and artistic director Sue Fink. This recording captures the choir’s interpretations of beloved numbers spanning gospel, classical, folk, world music, jazz, pop, and original compositions by Fink herself, showcasing the dynamic spirit and versatility that define the ensemble.

Released on CD Baby, this CD was recorded following the choir’s Spring Concert in June 1999. The single disc features the range of musical styles and traditions that have made Angel City Chorale one of Los Angeles’s most acclaimed vocal groups.
