What Happens in Vegas is a 2008 romantic comedy from Twentieth Century Fox directed by Tom Vaughan. Cameron Diaz stars as Joy, an uptight woman fresh off a broken engagement who heads to Las Vegas to unwind. Ashton Kutcher plays Jack, a laid-back furniture maker recently fired by his own father, who travels to Vegas for the same reason. The two strangers meet, get drunk, and wake up married. When Jack wins three million dollars on a slot machine using Joy’s quarter, a judge orders the mismatched couple to remain married for six months before they can claim the prize, forcing them to navigate their incompatible lives together.
