Weekend at Bernie’s is a 1989 comedy directed by Ted Kotcheff and written by Robert Klane. Andrew McCarthy and Jonathan Silverman star as two insurance company employees who arrive at their boss’s beach house for what should be a relaxing weekend, only to discover he has been murdered. Rather than report his death, they decide to prop up his corpse and pretend he is still alive, leading to a series of misadventures as they try to maintain the charade while evading a hitman on their trail.

This single-disc DVD release runs 97 minutes and carries a PG-13 rating from Twentieth Century Fox. Grab this comedy gem used and own a piece of late-80s humor at a fraction of retail cost.
