Pompei Pete, a well-meaning but hapless centurion, finds himself thrust into the modern world after being excavated from two-thousand-year-old lava rock in this animated comedy feature. Produced by NCircle Entertainment as part of the Wacky World of Tex Avery franchise, the film channels the exaggerated cartoon style pioneered by legendary animator Tex Avery, known for his influential work on classic characters and his signature squash-and-stretch animation technique. With voice work from Ian James Corlett, Kathleen Barr, and Phil Hayes, the story follows Pete as he navigates contemporary life with fish-out-of-water humor and slapstick mayhem.

This DVD release from Sterling Entertainment contains the complete feature with a runtime of 84 minutes. Fans of classic cartoon comedy will appreciate how the film honors Avery’s hyperactive style while introducing new characters and modern-day scenarios.
