Up All Night is a 2011 NBC sitcom starring Christina Applegate and Will Arnett as Reagan and Chris Brinkley, a working couple navigating the challenges of new parenthood. When Reagan discovers she’s pregnant in the pilot episode, the couple welcomes their daughter Amy into their lives. Reagan works as a TV producer while Chris leaves his law career to become the primary caregiver, leading to complications involving sleep deprivation, career uncertainty, romantic struggles, and interference from meddling relatives. Maya Rudolph plays Ava Alexander, Reagan’s boss and best friend who hosts an Oprah-style talk show, bringing comedic energy as a self-absorbed and clueless character dealing with her own romantic entanglements.
