Two for the Money is a 2005 crime drama directed by D.J. Caruso and written by Dan Gilroy. Al Pacino stars as Walter Abrams, a powerful sports gambling consultant who takes on Brandon Lang, a former college athlete played by Matthew McConaughey, as his protege. As Lang proves himself adept at picking football winners for high-rolling gamblers, he rises quickly through the ranks of the professional betting world. However, his partnership with Abrams soon becomes a dangerous game of deception and manipulation, with millions at stake and their relationship deteriorating into a deadly con.
