In this 2011 animated TV special set in Crisper County, cable news reporter Marlee Meade devises a scheme to save the town’s old theater from closure by staging a musical pageant called “Up With Bunnies.” When she learns that singing sensation Cassie Cassava will be performing at a local church’s Easter service, Marlee plots to recruit her as the star of her own production. As her plans spiral out of control, Marlee must learn what truly matters about helping others and the real meaning of Easter. Directed by Mike Nawrocki and featuring voice work from Cydney Trent, Melinda Doolittle, and Mike Nawrocki, this family-friendly musical comedy delivers holiday heart and humor.
