Norwegian director André Øvredal created this 2010 found-footage thriller about a group of film students who stumble upon a troll hunter working to protect Oslo from dangerous mythical creatures. Starring Glenn Erland Tosterud, Benedicte Aubert Ringnes, and Johanna Mørck, the film imagines a world where folklore monsters exist but are kept secret by government agencies. The hunter, a weary bureaucrat tasked with eliminating trolls from the Scandinavian wilderness, agrees to let the students document his dangerous work, blending dark humor with genuine suspense and impressive creature effects.

This is a single-disc DVD release from Magnet Releasing with a runtime of 103 minutes and a PG-13 rating. The film balances quirky comedy with moments of tension, using the found-footage format to create an inventive satire of government secrecy alongside imaginative troll designs. Fans of shaky-cam thrillers will appreciate how the CGI creatures integrate into the live-action scenes. Own this cult favorite on physical media at a used price.
