Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines

Movie / Show Details

Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines is a 1965 British comedy adventure directed by Ken Annakin. Set in 1910, the film follows an international air race from London to Paris where competitors from around the world vie for prize money and glory. An American cowboy, an English ace, and pilots representing various nations take to the skies in lovingly recreated period aircraft that are as likely to sputter and crash as they are to fly straight. Sabotage, romance, and aerial thrills collide as the ensemble cast navigates both the competition and personal rivalries, all set to a jaunty tone that balances humor with meticulous flying sequences.

This single-disc DVD release from Twentieth Century Fox runs 118 minutes and carries a US Approved rating.
