The Valet is a 2006 French comedy directed by Francis Veber. When a wealthy businessman (Daniel Auteuil) is photographed alongside his supermodel mistress (Alice Taglioni), he hatches a scheme to convince his wife (Kristin Scott Thomas) that the woman is actually with another man in the picture-a parking valet (Gad Elmaleh) who happened to walk by. To pull off the deception, the billionaire sets up the valet and supermodel as a fake couple. The valet accepts the arrangement, but his real motivation is earning money to impress a bookstore owner he loves. As the characters’ schemes and counterplots unfold, complications multiply in unexpected ways, with support from a jealous best friend (Dany Boon) and other entangled parties.
