The Secrets of Steelheading is an instructional film directed by Gene Hering and featuring expert angler Jim Teeny. This detailed guide teaches viewers the methods and strategies for successfully catching steelhead trout in Pacific Northwest rivers. Teeny, who developed his own fly line company specializing in shooting head and sinking lines, demonstrates the essential gear including rods, reels, lines, flies, and leaders, then takes viewers to the river to show casting techniques and tactical approaches for presenting flies to steelhead.

Released on DVD as a single disc, this instructional video includes underwater footage of steelhead and the Teeny Technique in action, allowing viewers to visualize how fly lines move along the river bottom and how flies behave in the current. A used copy gives you access to this comprehensive steelhead fishing resource at a fraction of retail cost.
