This DVD pairs two distinct dramas from the 1970s. The Second Coming of Suzanne follows a filmmaker, played by Richard Dreyfuss, whose artistic vision centers on reimagining Jesus as a woman, with Sondra Locke cast in the lead role. The film blurs the boundaries between cinema and reality while incorporating intimate sequences. Portrait of a Showgirl shifts focus to three dancers hired to perform in a new Las Vegas revue at Caesars Palace, where personal struggles and professional pressures intersect as opening night approaches. Lesley Ann Warren and Rita Moreno deliver standout performances in this character-driven drama.

Both films are presented on a single DVD disc. Owning these used titles lets you explore lesser-known cinema from that era at a fraction of retail cost.
