Brooks stars as a disgraced baseball scout sent to rural Mexico to find talent for the New York Yankees. When he discovers an exceptionally gifted young pitcher played by Brendan Fraser, he believes he has found his ticket back to respectability. However, the prospect proves to be emotionally unstable, forcing the scout to enlist a psychiatrist, played by Dianne Wiest, to help convince the Yankees that the volatile player is mentally fit for a $55 million contract.

This single-disc DVD release runs 91 minutes and carries a PG-13 rating from Twentieth Century Fox. The supporting cast includes Anne Twomey, Barry Shabaka Henley, and Garfield. A used copy gives you a chance to own this sports comedy at a fraction of retail cost.
