The Restorers is a 2003 documentary directed by Adam N. White that explores the world of vintage and warbird aircraft restoration. Featuring restorers including Bob Odegaard, Brian Sanders, Charles Reed, Dennis Sanders, Frank Borman, and Gerry Beck, the film examines what drives individuals and organizations to dedicate millions of dollars and years of effort to bringing decades-old planes back to life. From hobbyists working in garages to specialized corporations, the documentary reveals the passion and obsession behind resurrecting aircraft that haven’t flown in over fifty years and now perform at airshows and races worldwide.

This 10th anniversary special edition comes on one DVD from Hemlock Films and features an HD transfer of the original film negative along with a new surround sound soundtrack. The disc includes bonus interviews, previously missing scenes, and making-of featurettes that provide fresh perspective on the restoration craft. Own this documentary about historical preservation and the people dedicated to keeping aviation history alive.
