Director Bill Bennett brings broad slapstick comedy to this 2002 Australian rags-to-riches tale starring Eric Bana, Dave O’Neil, and Stephen Curry. Three working-class mates discover an actual gold reserve hidden in the outback during what had been nothing more than a casual hobby. Greed takes over as the trio squabbles over how to divide their newfound fortune, completely oblivious to two other men scheming to steal their precious find.

This Region 4 PAL DVD includes a 97-minute presentation in anamorphic widescreen with English audio in both Dolby Digital 2.0 and 5.1 surround, plus English subtitles. Special features encompass alternative footage, behind-the-scenes content, cast and crew interviews, director commentary, a music video, scene selection, and trailers. Note that this Australian release requires a multi-region or PAL-compatible player to view in North America. Grab this used copy and enjoy a comedy that captures the chaos of sudden wealth.
