CD Details
First Aid Kit’s 2018 album The Lion’s Roar blends folk and indie rock with Scandinavian influences and contemporary production. The Swedish duo recorded this full band effort with their father Benkt on bass, drummer Mattias Bergqvist, and musicians from Omaha including Mogis and Nate Walcott of Bright Eyes. The album features original compositions like the title track, Emmylou, and In The Hearts Of Men, with the closing song King Of The World bringing together The Felice Brothers and Conor Oberst for a collaborative final verse.
This CD was released on Wichita UK and contains eleven tracks totaling approximately 46 minutes. Fans of Bright Eyes, Laura Marling, Mumford & Sons, and Fleet Foxes will find much to appreciate in this collection. Grab this used copy and own a piece of indie folk history.
