The Late Middle Ages is a 24-lecture course exploring European history from roughly the 14th through 16th centuries. Taught by Philip Daileader of the College of William and Mary, the course examines pivotal events and figures that shaped the period, including conflicts between church and state, the Hundred Years War, the Black Death, peasant uprisings, and the emergence of new technologies like the printing press. Lectures also cover religious reform movements, the fall of Constantinople, the Spanish Inquisition, and early exploration.

This DVD set contains all 24 lectures, each running 30 minutes, from The Great Courses (Course No. 8296). A used copy lets you own this educational series at a fraction of the original cost.
