The Firm is a 1993 legal thriller directed by Sydney Pollack and based on John Grisham’s novel. The film follows a young lawyer who accepts a lucrative position at a prestigious law firm, only to discover that the company has deep ties to organized crime. When federal agents approach him seeking cooperation, he finds himself trapped between the mob’s threats and the government’s demands, forced to make impossible choices to protect himself and those he cares about. The cast includes Gene Hackman, Holly Hunter, Hal Holbrook, Ed Harris, David Strathairn, and Gary Busey.

This is a single-disc DVD release from Paramount Pictures with a runtime of two hours and thirty-four minutes and an R rating. The screenplay was adapted by David Rabe and Robert Towne from Grisham’s source material. A used copy gives you the chance to own this suspenseful drama at a fraction of retail cost.
