The Comebacks is a 2007 sports comedy directed by Tom Brady that spoofs inspirational football films. David Koechner stars as Lambeau Fields, a hapless coach who takes over the football program at Heartland State University in rural Texas, leading a team of misfits toward the championship while pursuing his own redemption. The ensemble cast includes Brooke Nevin, Carl Weathers, DJ Qualls, and Jackie Long as the film parodies everything from Field of Dreams to Remember the Titans, stuffing the story with references to beloved sports movies and TV shows.

This is a single-disc DVD release in widescreen format with a runtime of 84 minutes, presented in the unrated edition and rated R. Released by Fox Atomic, the film delivers absurdist humor as Coach Fields demands his players flunk out and rack up felonies, while the team bonds over a lip-synced Journey performance complete with pyrotechnics. Grab this used copy and enjoy a sports movie spoof without the new price tag.
