The Chronicles of Narnia is a 1988 British television adaptation of C.S. Lewis’s beloved fantasy series. Directed by Marilyn Fox and written by Alan Seymour from Lewis’s source material, this production brings three complete Narnia stories to the screen, featuring Barbara Kellerman, Big Mick, and Richard Dempsey. The tales follow young children who stumble through a magical wardrobe into the enchanted land of Narnia, where they encounter the noble lion Aslan and become caught in an epic struggle between good and evil across fantastical landscapes.

This DVD set from Home Vision Entertainment contains all three adventures on three discs, totaling two hours and fifty-two minutes of content. The production is unrated and presents these classic stories with practical effects and a homespun charm that differs from modern fantasy adaptations. Grab this used copy and experience these faithful BBC adaptations of Lewis’s timeless tales.
