In this 2011 body-swap comedy from Universal Pictures, lifelong friends Mitch and Dave wake up in each other’s bodies after a drunken wish at a fountain. Ryan Reynolds plays Mitch, a perpetually single man content to avoid responsibility, while Jason Bateman is Dave, an overworked lawyer juggling a high-pressure job, a marriage to Leslie Mann’s Jamie, and three kids. What seems like a dream scenario at first-Mitch getting to experience Dave’s seemingly perfect life and Dave escaping his obligations-quickly turns complicated when both men realize the grass isn’t greener on the other side. Olivia Wilde and Alan Arkin round out the cast as the situation spirals into chaos.
