Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman lead this 2011 R-rated comedy from David Dobkin, the director behind Wedding Crashers, with a script by the writers of The Hangover. After a drunken night of wishing they had each other’s lives, two lifelong friends wake up to discover they’ve magically swapped bodies. Mitch envies Dave’s successful law career and loving family, while Dave craves Mitch’s carefree existence without responsibilities. Now forced to live as each other, they must scramble to keep their respective lives from falling apart while searching for a way to reverse the swap.
