The Bourne Legacy is a 2012 action thriller directed by Tony Gilroy that continues the spy franchise with Jeremy Renner as Aaron Cross, a CIA operative forced to survive when government officials move to eliminate evidence of their covert programs, including the agents who ran them. Edward Norton and Joan Allen co-star in this installment, which follows Cross as he employs his enhanced abilities to outmaneuver those hunting him and complete the mission Jason Bourne left unfinished.
