Knight Rider is a 1982 action series that follows crime-fighter Michael Knight, played by David Hasselhoff, and his partner K.I.T.T., an artificially intelligent supercar voiced by William Daniels. Created by Glen A. Larson and directed by Georg Fenady, Sidney Hayers, and Winrich Kolbe, the show combines sci-fi technology with crime-fighting action as Michael and his high-tech vehicle take on criminals and villains who threaten to misuse K.I.T.T.’s advanced systems. The series became a defining action show of the 1980s, with Edward Mulhare and Richard Basehart rounding out the cast.
