Eric Burdon and The Animals recorded this collection of material spanning 1966 to 1968, drawing from the British rock and blues outfit’s most prolific period. The group blended blues standards with original compositions, creating a sound that mixed rock energy with soulful vocals. Standout tracks include “When I Was Young,” “San Franciscan Nights,” and “See See Rider,” showcasing the band’s ability to tackle both covers and their own material with equal conviction.

Released in 1991, this CD compilation gathers the best work from that three-year span across a single disc. The collection features songs like “Don’t Bring Me Down,” “Inside Looking Out,” and “Help Me Girl,” offering a solid overview of the group’s output during their most creative years. Grab this used copy and experience the Animals’ influential take on blues-rock.
