The 2005 Ashes series between England and Australia stands as one of test cricket’s greatest contests, and this documentary captures the drama across all five matches. England’s young team, led by captain Andrew Flintoff, faced early setbacks before finding their rhythm and playing some of their finest cricket. The series featured intense battles at iconic venues including Lord’s, Edgbaston, Old Trafford, Trent Bridge, and The Oval, with England ultimately reclaiming the Ashes for the first time since 1987. Commentary and analysis from cricket legends Geoffrey Boycott, Michael Atherton, and Richie Benaud provide expert perspective on the memorable encounters.

This three-disc DVD box set runs over ten hours and presents extended highlights from the entire series, released by Sunset and Vine Productions. The set captures the bowling brilliance of both teams, the pivotal batting performances, and the dramatic finishes that defined this legendary contest.
