Tear It Up is a CD from fingerstyle guitarist and vocalist Keith Knight, released in 2024. The album showcases Knight’s command of both 12 and 6 string acoustic guitars alongside upright bass, fiddle, and vocals, drawing from Celtic, ragtime blues, and Appalachian mountain music traditions. Tracks like The Dublin Dudes, Cat Fight, Trotsky’s Revenge, and Texas Tombstone highlight his rapid-fire picking style and aggressive approach to fingerstyle composition. Knight also explores world music on Calimaica with calypso rhythms, pays tribute to Django Reinhardt with the gypsy jazz flavor of Dag Nab It, and honors ragtime legend Blind Blake on Chomp Man Blues and That’ll Never Happen No More.

This CD features Knight’s versatile musicianship across multiple genres and instrumental styles. A used copy of Tear It Up offers you the chance to own this diverse folk and blues recording at a fraction of retail cost.
