Tails

CD Details

Lisa Loeb and Nine Stories released Tails in 1995 as Loeb’s debut album. The year before, Loeb had already achieved major chart success with “Stay,” featured on the Reality Bites soundtrack, and that song appears on this album alongside twelve additional tracks. Tails showcases Loeb’s range across pop and rock styles, from the infectious, upbeat melodies of “Snow Day,” “Rose-Colored Times,” and “Waiting for Wednesday” to the more introspective and darker material found in “Hurricane,” “Alone,” and “Lisa Listen.” The album also demonstrates Loeb’s willingness to embrace a rockier edge, as heard on “Taffy.”

This is a single CD released on Geffen Records featuring all thirteen tracks, including “It’s Over,” “Sandalwood,” “Do You Sleep?,” and “When All The Stars Were Falling.” The album runs approximately forty-four minutes. Picking up this used copy lets you own a piece of nineties alternative rock without the new price tag.
