Tai Chi Master is a 1993 Hong Kong action film directed by Yuen Woo-ping, featuring Jet Li, Michelle Yeoh, and Chin Siu-hou. The story follows Jun and Tien, two childhood friends trained in martial arts at Shaolin Temple during the Manchu Dynasty. As adults, their contrasting personalities drive them onto opposing sides of a civil conflict, with gentle Jun joining the rebellion against the regime while ambitious Tien enlists in the army. Their personal conflict builds toward a climactic martial arts showdown between the former friends.

This single-disc DVD release runs 96 minutes and carries an R rating from Miramax. Yuen Woo-ping’s direction showcases some of the most fluid and inventive fight choreography of the era, with Li demonstrating remarkable martial arts ability and Yeoh delivering a strong performance in a wuxia setting. Chin Siu-hou commands attention as the antagonist opposite Li’s hero. Grab this used copy and experience the kinetic action sequences that defined a generation of martial arts cinema.
