Strange Weather is a 2015 pop rock album by Glenn Frey, the fourth solo effort from the Eagles guitarist and vocalist. Recorded at Mad Dog Ranch in Snowmass, Colorado, the album features a mix of soft rock originals and instrumental interludes, with Frey handling vocals, acoustic guitar, and various instruments alongside collaborators including keyboardist Jay Oliver, guitarist Mark Goldenberg, and a full band of session musicians. The record showcases Frey’s attempt to reinvigorate his solo career with more substantive material, though some of the album’s political and philosophical themes felt incongruous with his public persona.

This CD contains nine tracks ranging from the brief instrumental “Silent Spring” to the extended “Love In The 21st Century,” including standouts like “Long Hot Summer,” the title track “Strange Weather,” and “He Took Advantage (Blues For Ronald Reagan).” Despite Frey’s renewed commitment to the project, the album failed to chart commercially. You can own this used copy of Strange Weather at a fraction of what you’d pay for a new one.
