Split is a 2016 psychological horror thriller directed by M. Night Shyamalan about a man with dissociative identity disorder who kidnaps three teenage girls. Kevin, portrayed by James McAvoy, has revealed 23 distinct personalities to his psychiatrist Dr. Fletcher (Betty Buckley), but a more dangerous identity lurks beneath the surface, waiting to take control. As the girls, including the resourceful Casey (Anya Taylor-Joy), become trapped, a battle erupts within Kevin’s fractured mind that threatens everyone involved.

This single-disc DVD release runs 97 minutes and carries a PG-13 rating from Universal Pictures. Special features include an alternate ending, deleted scenes with introductions by Shyamalan, a making-of documentary, a featurette exploring McAvoy’s portrayal of the multiple personalities, and a segment on Shyamalan’s directorial approach.
