Spider-Man: The New Animated Series is a 2003 computer-animated show that reimagines the classic superhero story by placing Peter Parker in college. Voiced by Neil Patrick Harris, Parker juggles his secret identity as Spider-Man while attending school with best friend Harry Osborn (Ian Ziering) and his longtime crush Mary Jane Watson (Lisa Loeb). Created by Mainframe Entertainment and developed by writer Brian Michael Bendis, the series follows Parker as he battles both familiar villains from the comics and entirely new adversaries while keeping his double life hidden.
