CD Details
Special Herbs Vol. 3 & 4 is an instrumental hip-hop album by Metal Fingers, the production alias of MF DOOM. Released as part of an ongoing series that began in 2002, these volumes showcase DOOM’s signature approach to beat-making, built from obscure samples and vintage loops. The project has earned respect from major figures in hip-hop including Just Blaze, Nas, and Mos Def, while DOOM himself has become known for supplying production work across the genre for artists like Gorillaz, de la Soul, and Wu-Tang Clan.
This is a CD edition of the Special Herbs series, one of hip-hop’s longest-running instrumental collections. Fans of DOOM’s production style and beat diggers will find plenty to explore in these volumes. Grab this used copy and own a piece of hip-hop production history.
