Speak of the Devil

CD Details

Speak of the Devil is a rock album by Chris Isaak, released in 1998. Working with his backing band Silvertone, Isaak explores a wider emotional range than his previous work, balancing his signature wistful ballads with a grittier edge. The record showcases the artist loosening up vocally and toughening his delivery, particularly on tracks like the title song and “Black Flowers,” while guitarist Hershel Yatovitz contributes poignant picking throughout. Despite the harder moments, Isaak’s gift for crafting unshakable melodies remains central to the album’s appeal.

This CD contains eleven tracks including “Please,” “Flying,” “Walk Slow,” “Breaking Apart,” “This Time,” “Speak Of The Devil,” “Like The Way She Moves,” “Wanderin’,” “Don’t Get So Down On Yourself,” “Black Flowers,” and “I’m Not Sleepy.” Get a used copy of this rock album from us and own the physical disc.
