CD Details

Released in 2001, The Soul of Healing Meditations pairs the calming voice of Deepak Chopra with electronic soundscapes composed by Adam Plack. Designed for both newcomers to meditation and experienced practitioners, this collection guides listeners through various contemplative practices aimed at promoting physical and emotional wellness. Chopra’s approach emphasizes the body’s natural capacity for healing and the power of mindfulness to address life’s challenges by fostering inner awareness, releasing tension, and cultivating positive mental states.

This CD contains eight tracks ranging from seven-minute breathing meditations to shorter focused sessions, with Plack’s ambient and Indian-influenced music supporting each piece. The accompanying soundtrack transitions between delicate atmospheric textures and more rhythmic elements, creating an appropriate sonic backdrop for practices like heart meditation, body awareness work, and techniques for releasing negative patterns.
