Judy Rubenstein, an educator with degrees from Wellesley College and Harvard University, presents her debut recording of Songs of the Seder, released in 1999. This folk album features traditional blessings and liturgical songs central to the Jewish Passover ritual meal, including pieces such as To The Red Sea, Hee-nay Mah Tove, and Mah Neesh-tah-nah, with compositions by S. E. Goldfarb and S. S. Grossman. Rubenstein performs these songs with a focus on clarity and accessibility, allowing listeners to learn and appreciate the musical traditions of the Seder.

This CD features instrumental accompaniment arranged and performed by George Fogelman and serves as a companion to the music book Rubenstein co-wrote with her husband, Howard S. Rubenstein, designed to accompany the Passover Haggadah. The album functions primarily as an educational resource while also offering a rewarding musical experience. Add this used copy to your collection and explore the sacred songs of Passover.
