Song Painter and I Believe in Music are two country and pop albums from a singer-songwriter, originally released in 1971 and 1972. Song Painter pairs the artist with producer Jerry Fuller and arranger Artie Butler for a collection of emotional songs, including his renditions of “In the Ghetto” and “Memories” as well as his debut hit “Whoever Finds This, I Love You”. I Believe in Music blends new material with the artist’s own takes on songs he had written for other performers.
This CD is a digitally remastered two-fer combining both albums on a single disc, released by T-Bird and CBS Inc. in 2010. A great way to own both records without taking up extra shelf space.
