Digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the Country & Pop singer/songwriter: Song Painter (1971) and I Believe in Music (1972). Song Painter is a beautifully balanced collaboration between Davis, producer Jerry Fuller and arranger Artie Butler and features a collection of very poignant songs, including his own version of “In the Ghetto” and “Memories”, both recorded by Elvis. There is also his first hit “Whoever Finds This, I Love You”. The album, I Believe in Music combined new songs with his own interpretations of hits he’d written for other artists. Cherry Red. 2010.
