Son of Lassie is a 1945 live-action family adventure film directed by S. Sylvan Simon and based on a story by Eric Knight. The movie follows Laddie, the son of the famous Lassie, and his devoted master Joe Carraclough, an RAF airman during World War II. When Joe departs on a bombing mission, Laddie secretly stows away on his plane. After the aircraft is shot down over Nazi-occupied Norway, the two must parachute to safety and navigate the dangerous enemy territory, relying on their courage and unwavering loyalty to survive and find their way home.
