Some People Have Real Problems is Sia’s 2008 pop album, released following her work on the Six Feet Under series finale and collaborations with electronic acts Massive Attack and Zero 7. The Australian artist crafts a witty and emotionally complex record that balances humor with melancholy, blending influences from artists like Fiona Apple and Joss Stone. Sia delivers a standout cover of the Kinks’ “I Go To Sleep” and showcases deeply personal songwriting on tracks like “Lentil,” while Beck guests on the introspective “Academia,” a song built around clever wordplay about romantic heartbreak. Her accessible production is undercut by lyrics that range from playful to darkly sincere, creating an intoxicating sonic landscape that rewards close listening.

This CD features nine tracks plus a hidden bonus track, “Buttons,” which includes an enhanced video component. The album was released on the Sia label and runs approximately 44 minutes. Grab this used copy and experience the eccentric artistry that defined Sia’s early solo career.
