CD Details
Some Bright Morning is a 2012 folk and country album by Rani and Daisy Mayhem Arbo, a string band that blends traditional American music with original compositions and improvisational energy. Led by Rani Arbo’s expressive alto vocals and featuring four-part harmonies, the group draws from over two centuries of American musical tradition while maintaining a playful, genre-defying approach. The ensemble combines fiddle, guitar, standup bass, and unconventional percussion including a cardboard box drum and tin can cymbals, creating a distinctive sound that celebrates both time-honored styles and creative spontaneity.
This CD contains ten tracks spanning the album’s eclectic repertoire, from “Hear Jerusalem Moan” and “I’ll Fly Away” to original pieces like “Bridges” and “Miami Moon,” with a total runtime of approximately 37 minutes. You can own this used copy of Some Bright Morning at a fraction of the cost of a new release.
