Situation Out of Control is a 2000 rock album by The Stone Coyotes, a family trio featuring Barbara Keith on vocals and guitar, Doug Tibbles on drums, and John Tibbles on bass. The band blends hard rock energy with country, punk, folk, and blues influences, creating a sound that pairs AC/DC’s raw power with literate storytelling rooted in Americana. This album showcases their eclectic approach across ten tracks, including the title song, Lucky Day, Where The Old Oak Grows, The Black Atlantic, When Parliament Convenes, Noah’s Ark, My Horse Has Wings, I Want To Rock, Highland Boy, and Bone Tired.

This is a single CD from the original 2000 release. The Stone Coyotes’ tangily hefty sound has been described as powerful and gritty with hints of sweetness and sorrow, delivering a distinctive blend that critics have compared to AC/DC meeting Patsy Cline. Grab this used copy and experience the rock and roll trio that inspired Elmore Leonard’s novel Be Cool.
