CD Details
Singing & Playing features John Doe and Exene Cervenka, the core songwriting force behind X, the influential punk rock band they formed in 1977. For this release, the duo reimagined their approach by crafting new acoustic material alongside fresh interpretations of classic X songs, presenting familiar material in an entirely different sonic context.
Released as a CD, this album showcases Doe and Cervenka’s enduring creative partnership and their ability to strip down their punk rock foundation to its essential elements. Picking up a used copy from us means owning a distinctive entry in their catalog at a fraction of retail cost.
