Signing Time. Volume 11: My Neighborhood is an educational television program from 2006 designed to teach American Sign Language to children ages 1 through 8. Host Rachel Coleman joins child signers Alex and Leah as they explore neighborhood themes, demonstrating ASL signs for playground equipment, vehicles, community locations, and the people who work in neighborhoods. Through original songs and interactive demonstrations, the program introduces young learners to signs related to activities like playing at parks, visiting stores and libraries, and meeting firefighters, police officers, doctors, and nurses.

This single-disc DVD release runs approximately 30 minutes and includes close captioning along with special features such as sign reviews, an alternate ending, safety signs instruction, and additional neighborhood-related content. The program also contains an interview about Rachel Coleman’s color-coded finger system and a preview of another Signing Time episode. A used copy from us means you can introduce your child to ASL at a fraction of retail cost.
