Shelter is the second and final album from Lone Justice, led by singer Maria McKee. Released in the 1980s, the record features production and guitar work from E Street Band guitarist Little Steven, who sought to craft a sound around McKee’s powerful voice. The album opens with “I Found Love,” where McKee delivers vocals with country-soul intensity, followed by nine additional tracks including “Reflected (On My Side),” “Beacon,” “Wheels,” and “Dixie Storms.” While McKee’s vocal presence remains commanding throughout, the production leans heavily into the electronic textures and keyboard arrangements characteristic of its era.

This CD contains ten tracks with a total runtime of approximately 44 minutes. Guitarist Shane Fontayne, who performed on this album, would later join Bruce Springsteen’s touring band. You can own this used copy of Shelter and experience McKee’s distinctive voice paired with Little Steven’s production vision at a fraction of the original retail cost.
