Seinfeld’s ninth and final season aired in 1997, bringing the Emmy-winning sitcom to a close after nearly a decade on NBC. Created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, the show stars Seinfeld as himself alongside Jason Alexander as George, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Elaine, and Michael Richards as Kramer. This season follows the four friends as they continue their misadventures navigating life in New York City, from absurd romantic entanglements to petty grievances, culminating in a trial that brings together a parade of characters wronged throughout the series’ run.

This DVD edition contains all 24 episodes of the final season across four discs, with a total runtime of nine hours and 21 minutes and a TV-PG rating. Released by NBC, it captures the show’s signature blend of observational humor and character-driven comedy right through to its controversial finale.
