Dwight Twilley’s second solo album arrived after a lengthy and complicated journey. Recording began in 1978 under the working title “Blueprint” for Arista Records, but legal complications delayed the project for years. EMI America finally released the album in summer 1982 under the new title “Scuba Divers.” Throughout the extended recording period following his 1979 debut “Twilley,” Twilley continued writing and performing, with numerous songs and different album sequences considered and reconsidered. This collection draws from that entire span of creative work, presenting 25 essential tracks that showcase Twilley at a particularly prolific moment.

The Blueprint Edition CD compiles material from the original sessions along with previously unreleased recordings, offering both songs that circulated among fans as rough bootlegs over the decades and tracks that have never been heard before, all sourced from original masters. You can own this expanded view of Twilley’s early solo work on CD at a used price.
