Rounders is a 1998 crime drama directed by John Dahl and starring Matt Damon as Mike McDermott, a poker player who loses big to Russian gangster Teddy “KGB” (John Malkovich). As Mike and Worm attempt to rebuild their bankroll through high-stakes games, they risk everything when their cheating is discovered. The situation intensifies when Mike learns the debt is owed to Teddy himself, setting up a final confrontation at the poker table.
